About Us

The Safe and Sounds

This unique space has been built within an old bank strong room, retaining use of all the incredible original features, and structural integrity of the original build.

The set up is geared around a fully equipped professional vocal recording studio and music production hub. The owner’s love of UK Garage music, and the live DJ and MC atmosphere of which it is infamous for, sees the studio equipped with everything to recreate the ultimate rave scene and MC battles as well.

“I want to bring back the excitement and raw authenticity of the old school club scene, and give as many people as possible an outlet for their music passion… in a super-cool building! This is the first project I have undertaken for pure love. I am so grateful I could create it, and am so happy with the result! Come and get involved!”

Our equipment list is always growing, but if there is certain equipment that you may need that we don’t already have, please let us know, as it may be something we would consider investing in. Also, please check the equipment list (emailed to you on request), as the videos may not show everything that we have to offer.

Recording studio

Safe and Sounds Studio is a fully equipped vocal recording studio, catering for a variety of uses and genres. There are currently 3 microphones, all different, to be moved and used as best suited. This caters for both single and group use.

The music production facility available allows you or your producer to turn up, plug in their own laptop (as we know most of you prefer to do) and make the most of what we have to offer here.

The control room and booth are fully acoustically treated providing an exceptionally flat and accurate listening experience. This is complimented with the KRK Rokit RP8 G4 near field monitoring system, with a separate KRK 12 sub. The Focusrite 18i8 audio interface offers legendary sonic quality and versatility. Vocal processing on the 18i8 is at a full industry standard 24 Bit / 96 Herz. We also offer a comprehensive list of VST plug-ins on a new, reliable Apple desktop computer. The studio also boasts a full professional DJ set up with Technics 1210 turntables, complemented with a Rane 62 mixer, running Serato DJ Pro software. Multi track D.A.W. recording is taken care of courtesy of Ableton Live. We also offer a full suite of mastering software which is taken care of by Izotope Ozone 9 advanced.

Live performance

Safe and Sounds Studio is also linking with local night clubs to put out their very own style of music-loving rave, involving their very favourite artists, and also supporting new talent.
